Location Workshops

Location sessions are planned for photogenic areas in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, Boston, Cape Cod and New York City during 2025.  Beginner workshops will cover proper camera ISO, shutter speed and lens aperture settings for a wide range of outdoor situations.  Advanced workshops will include photographing waterfalls, sunsets and more difficult subjects.  Both Saturday and Sunday sessions begin at 9 AM.  The meeting place will be provided via email several weeks prior to the event.  The morning session will break around 12-Noon for lunch.  The afternoon session begins at 1 PM and will continue to sunset.  Even though dedicated Beginner and Advanced Workshops are offered, Beginner Workshops tend to quickly move up to Advanced during the day.  Bring your camera, a fresh battery and an empty memory card.  Good walking shoes and outdoor attire for changing weather conditions are recommended.
